Donations in kind
If you are interested in sending in kind donations please contact either email@example.com or Sonjelle@hardthaven.org for guidance. We will be able to tell you what the most pressing needs are and can direct you in the best method of sending the goods to Ghana. Sending goods to Ghana is very expensive, it may cost you more on the shipping than you spent on the goods! It may take up to 2 months from the parcel to get from the capital city to Kpando. In addition there are often hidden fee’s that arise when a HardtHaven representative goes to pick up the goods from the post office. These fee’s must be paid by HardtHaven in order for them to receive the parcel. This is why, if possible, we direct interested parties to send the goods they would like to donate to a incoming volunteer. The volunteer will bring the donations to Ghana. This way a lot of hassle on all parties is avoided!
