How To Help

HardtHaven is not about making a profit; it is about changing children's lives and giving ordinary people the chance to change the world one little person at a time. You can help in a variety of ways:

  • Financial - We welcome any financial contributions. HardtHaven is currently registered as a Non-Profit Organization. There are two ways to donate. By check if you want it to be tax deductible and by PayPal if you do NOT want it to be tax deductible.
  • Donations - A List of What HardtHaven Really Needs In Order of Importance. If you have specific questions please email donations@hardthaven.org
  • Adoptions - HardtHaven is currently working with Adoption Advocates International to help find homes for our eligible children, especially our HIV+ children, who are in need of a loving permanent home. Please email Joy Hardthaven for further inquiries.
  • Child Sponsorship - We will provide you with a child, their photograph, history and immediate needs. Once you decide to sponsor a child, you will get periodic updates, including a letter from the child you are sponsoring. For only $30 a month, you can feed, clothe and provide school supplies for a child!
  • Donate your talents - We are currently looking for legal assistance to help us obtain our tax-exempt status, technical support to help us with our web site/graphics/brochures, assistance in grant writing, accounting help, and any other skills you think may benefit our organization!
  • Volunteer! - HardtHaven Children's Home is small and can personalize every volunteer experience. This orphanage is supported heavily by volunteerism- the majority of the program fee goes towards the maintenance of the orphanage. In addition by having our volunteers help out the local community the community will helps to support our orphans.
