Francis Owuasi

Francis is a 12 year old boy that lives in Anfoga, just on the Accra road about 20 minutes from Kpando. HardtHaven started sponsoring him on the 17th of July 2008. He currently lives with his grandmother as his parents are deceased. He attends school at Anfoga primary school. He is a very small boy, he looks to be around 7 years of age. He speaks very little English. On trips to the regional hospital he never utters a word not even to people that speak Ewe, except when he is getting blood taken, then he screams a lot. On the first time he was to go the hospital his grandmother told us he did not sleep the whole night because he was so excited that tomorrow the ëwhite peopleí were going to come. Now his opinion has probably changed as every time we pick me to take him to the hospital, he always has to get blood drawn! He has constant ear nose and throat infections that we are unable to find the cause of currently. He enjoys drawing and coloring.
