Christopher 2009

Christopher was originally a sponsored child. He is currently 3 years old. He came to live at the home after it became clear that his grandmother was not able to provide care for him as she already looks after several other grandchildren. His primary care giver was his cousin, Cynthia, who is 14. Cynthia often stayed home to care for Christopher and missed out on going to school.

Christopher fall 2010

HardtHaven made the decision to take Christopher in as a full time resident of the home after Edem visited his home one day and found Christopher eating dirt (the polite boy that Christopher is he graciously offered Edem some of his dirt as well!).

Christopher loves to eat! He doesn’t have a favorite food as all food is his favorite!
Christopher has bowed legs, x-rays revealed that this due to bone displacement in his hip and not caused by rickets at previously thought. HardtHaven is currently looking into ways of correcting this problem.
Christopher is currently attending the local pre-school.
